Attracting customers at the Awareness Stage<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Awareness Stage is the point where a person is trying to define what exactly their problem is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>At this stage, a service provider should help the customer understand what that problem is.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>For a web design company, this would mean creating content with topics such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>21 Mistakes Business Owners Make on their Website, or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5 Reasons why you\u2019re not Getting Customers from your Website<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These are educative resources (such as blog posts or videos) that will help a potential customer understand what their problem is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Attracting customers at the Consideration Stage<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Consideration Stage is the point where the customer is contemplating possible solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>At this stage, the service provider should provide the customer with possible solutions to their problem.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>This proves that the service provider is a \u201ctrusted authority\u201d, and is able to help them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Continuing with the example above, the website design company should provide resources such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A FREE checklist on the different things your website must have to convert customers online<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Attracting customers at the Decision Stage<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.afridigitalsacademy.net\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Decision<\/a> Stage is where the person has fully defined their problem, and is actively searching for a service provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>At this stage, the service provider should provide content that compels the customer to choose them.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The website design company in our example should provide content such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Case studies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Testimonials<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Product comparison<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Request for free consultation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>The key to attracting customers is to provide the right content at the right time.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A person in the awareness stage isn\u2019t necessarily interested in seeing testimonials and case studies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A person in the decision stage is not interested in reading more articles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You need to meet people at the different stages of the buyer\u2019s journey, based on the problem they are trying to solve at that stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The kind of content you provide may be videos, blog posts, or downloadable resources. Just make sure you are providing \u201cvalue\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This approach solidifies the customer\u2019s perception that you are a trusted authority, and that you are capable of solving their problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your Action Point<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Think about who your customers are, and the kind of content or resources that they will need at the Awareness, Consideration and Decision stages of the buyer\u2019s journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you have a question?
